Dear Families, Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our classroom activities. Over the past few weeks, we have been exploring the themes of winter and Lunar New Year celebrations. We learned about staying warm and activities related to winter through the story “凯蒂在冬天”  （Katie in Winter) and enhanced the languages by colouring the winter clothes. We are also delighted to bring you some exciting news about celebrating the upcoming Lunar New Year! As we approach this festive occasion, our little ones are all engaged in learning about and embracing the rich traditions and customs associated with this joyous celebration.  We started learning about the festive activities such as people greeting each other with good blessings and children getting red pockets from adults through the story “Lunar New Year”. Dear Gecko Class Families, The last two weeks have been full of fun and learning in our classroom! We've explored new books, strengthened our skills, and talked about what it means to be principled. Through stories, art projects, and class discussions, the children have been growing in so many wonderful ways. We Are Principled! Last week, we read The Bad Seed , a fun story about a seed who used to make bad choices but learns to change his ways and do the right thing. The children really connected with the seed’s journey and how he became more honest, kind, and thoughtful. We talked about how being principled means making good choices, even when it's hard, and treating others with respect. The Principled Jar and Dance Party! To encourage principled behaviour, we now have a Principled Jar in our classroom. Every time we see someone making a principled choice, like being kind, honest, or helpful, we add a pompom to the jar. Once it’s full, we’ll celebrate with a fun dance party! ...

These pictures will be a great way for your child to connect with their friends and share their experiences. Show and Share: Term 2 Schedule To continue developing the children’s inquiry and questioning skills, we’re excited to begin our next round of “Show and Share.” This activity will run from January 7th - February 6th. In Term 1, half the class had their turn, and now it’s time for the other half to participate. Each child is invited to bring in a special item they’d like to share with the class, whether it’s a favourite toy, book, or something meaningful to them. They’ll have the opportunity to present their special object during small group discussions, where their classmates can ask questions and...
